Job Summary



The bartender provides guests with a quality lounge experience by greeting guests in a friendly manner, telling them about daily specials, and creating a memorable guest experience. The bartender serves guests with all food and beverage requirements in a pleasant, courteous, and professional manner.

Responsibilities



Provides personalized service to all guests Takes drink orders from customers Responsible for knowing prices of menu items Performs wait and service standards in a timely manner Serves drinks such as wine and beer Mixed drinks and cocktails according to recipes Checks identification of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age Cleans bar, tables, and work areas Operate POS system, cash handling, and debit/credit transactions Manages bar operation, order, maintain liquor and bar supplies Provide food service Follow food safety standards

Requirements



Reliable Transportation to Whitecap required High school diploma or equivalent is preferred Smart Serve required to start A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a bartender Flexible schedule Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming Must be able to multi- task and prioritize tasks when needed in a fast-paced environment Possess basic math, reading, and writing skills Must be eligible to work in Canada Must be willing to work in Whitecap, Saskatchewan
