We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable experience. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, food safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly.
Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and payment transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours, especially during catering events or banquets.
Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and assist with specialty drink preparation as required.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain cash handling procedures to ensure accountability.
Uphold all food safety regulations and guidelines within the establishment.
Qualifications
Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders simultaneously.
Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
