Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of drinks and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and utensils. Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Skills

Proven experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Proficient in basic math for cash handling and drink preparation calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to alcohol service. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
