Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team to work Monday-Sat evenings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions accurately. Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders and maintain communication during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed. Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and maintain knowledge of responsible serving practices.

Skills

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry. Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with patrons. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
