Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving customers, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Your role will involve managing the bar area efficiently while adhering to food safety and handling standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction. Operate the POS system for order entry and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring all sales are recorded properly. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, but not required (willing to train). Time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing. Familiarity with POS Systems is a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Must be able to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and composure.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week
