Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills while assisting with food service operations.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries or orders. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions accurately. Handle cash and credit card transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including food handling equipment. Utilize time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks during peak hours. Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items and food offerings to enhance customer experience. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for resolution. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the food service environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in the food industry. Familiarity with basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Experience as a barista or in food preparation is a plus, showcasing your ability to work in a dynamic setting. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. Strong communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
