Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and food handling, with experience in the food industry. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer orders efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in food preparation. Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during all food handling processes. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math skills for processing payments.

Requirements

Previous barista experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for guests. Experience in the food industry is a plus, including knowledge of food safety practices. Proficient in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to follow instructions carefully and adhere to company policies regarding food preparation and safety. Pay: $17.85-$19.85 per hour
