Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong commitment to food safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, following established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including SQUARE POS, to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety guidelines. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring high-quality presentation. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices are followed. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Familiarity with food handling and safety practices in the food service industry. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
