Overview

On behalf of our client, JP Matters Immigration Consulting is seeking passionate and dedicated Baristas. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. Your ability to connect with customers and deliver their favorite drinks will contribute significantly to our client's cafe's success.

Duties

Provide friendly service exceptional service experience to customer, answer questions and make suggestions. Operate cash register, follow all cash handling policies and procedures Prepare food and beverage items as per standard recipes, portions and format. Deliver food and beverages to table as needed. Assist in keeping the restaurant safe and clean, (bus, sanitize tables, sweep, mop and performs other duties as assigned)

Skills

Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Experience with POS systems to manage sales transactions efficiently. Knowledge of food safety practices within the food service industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers. Previous experience in food service or the coffee industry is preferred but not required. A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help create a positive experience for all guests.

Foreign Workers

The company will support the selected foreign applicant through the Francophone Mobility LMIA exemption. In order to qualify, you will need to:

Have prior experience as a barista or similar position Be able to prove your French language ability as per IRCC requirements
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
