Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring that all food safety and preparation standards are met.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for coffee and beverage preparation is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.70-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 24 per week
