We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers.

Duties

You will be responsible for crafting high standard quality tea and coffee. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in food preparation and handling as needed, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; report any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold company policies and procedures while promoting a positive work environment.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is an asset. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided if necessary. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
