Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring that every customer has an enjoyable experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Utilize POS systems effectively, including Micros POS, to process orders and manage inventory. Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all food handling guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous; experience with Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is preferred. A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques is highly valued.
