Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while providing exceptional customer service. You will create a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring they have a memorable experience every time they visit.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as food items, in accordance with our recipes and standards Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math calculations for customer orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, to process transactions smoothly Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment

Experience

Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations Proficiency in using POS systems; experience with Micros POS is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
