We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced bar environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized, ultimately enhancing the guest experience. This position is ideal for individuals looking to grow their career in the hospitality industry while providing exceptional service to our patrons.

Duties

Assist bartenders with preparing drinks and serving customers efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed. Ensure all equipment and tools are clean and in good working condition. Handle food preparation tasks as required to support the kitchen staff. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs promptly. Operate the POS system for processing orders when necessary. Collaborate with other team members to create a positive atmosphere for guests.

Experience

Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation and food service practices is a plus. Experience working in a restaurant or hotel setting is advantageous. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. A commitment to maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
