Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barback to join our dynamic team. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring a smooth operation behind the bar. This position involves maintaining cleanliness, assisting with drink preparation, and providing exceptional guest services to enhance the overall experience for patrons.

Responsibilities:

Support the bar team during service by cleaning glassware, clearing tables, and restocking the bar. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-prepped bar environment. Work 1-2 days per week at the front door, welcoming guests, managing reservations, and coordinating the waitlist with the Manager on Duty.

Requirements:

Enthusiastic, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn. Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Availability on weekends (especially Fridays and Saturdays). Serving It Right certification.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

Part-time position (primarily weekends and 1-2 door shifts during the week). Wage starting at $17.85 plus tips.

Experience

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with both guests and team members. A good understanding of food safety practices is beneficial. Experience in guest services or customer service roles will be advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
