Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing staff, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service. Train, supervise, and evaluate bar staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards. Develop and implement creative drink menus while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Manage cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with health and safety regulations. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction. Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the onboarding process for new staff members.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cash management. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests. Experience in supervising staff with a strong emphasis on training and motivation. Familiarity with hospitality best practices in both bar service and restaurant settings. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: $15.51-$18.00 per hour
