We are seeking an experienced

Bar Manager

to oversee all beverage operations within a festival bar tent. As a key point of contact for tent operations, you will ensure smooth day-to-day service while delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will work closely with the Volunteer Bar Team Lead (when available), the Slingers (inventory) team, and multiple festival departments to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service throughout the event.

Responsibilities



Tent Operations



Manage daily bar operations, including set-up, service, and breakdown. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Oversee inventory control, place supply orders, and manage stock levels in collaboration with the Slingers team.

Staff & Volunteer Management



Assist with training and supervising volunteer bartenders. Create and maintain volunteer schedules, ensuring proper coverage during peak service hours. Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment.

Customer Service



Maintain high standards of guest service and satisfaction. Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and issues. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements when needed.

Event Coordination



Collaborate with festival organizers and internal departments to coordinate bar logistics. Work closely with vendors and sponsors to ensure seamless beverage operations.

Quality Control



Oversee beverage preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Enforce cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.

Qualifications



Previous experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar leadership role. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of beverage trends and industry best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Solid understanding of health, safety, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the festival period.

Nous recherchons un(e)

Responsable de bar

pour superviser l'ensemble des operations de boissons dans une tente de festival. Veritable personne-ressource sur le terrain, vous assurerez le bon deroulement des operations quotidiennes tout en offrant une experience client de grande qualite. Vous travaillerez en etroite collaboration avec le/la chef(fe) d'equipe des benevoles (lorsque present(e)), l'equipe d'inventaire (Slingers) et les autres departements du festival.

Responsabilites



Operations de la tente



Gerer les operations quotidiennes du bar : montage, service et demontage. S'assurer du respect des normes de sante, de securite et de service responsable de l'alcool. Superviser la gestion des stocks et les commandes en collaboration avec l'equipe d'inventaire.

Gestion de l'equipe



Participer a la formation et a la supervision des benevoles au bar. Elaborer et maintenir les horaires afin d'assurer une couverture adequate lors des periodes achalandees. Creer un environnement de travail positif, respectueux et collaboratif.

Service a la clientele



Maintenir des standards eleves de service et de satisfaction des clientes. Gerer les questions, plaintes et situations delicates de facon professionnelle et efficace. Recueillir les commentaires des clientes et proposer des ameliorations au besoin.

Coordination evenementielle



Collaborer avec l'equipe d'organisation et les autres departements pour coordonner la logistique liee au bar. Travailler avec les fournisseurs et commanditaires afin d'assurer des operations fluides.

Controle de la qualite



Superviser la preparation et la presentation des boissons afin d'assurer constance et qualite. Veiller au respect des normes de proprete, d'hygiene et de salubrite.

Profil recherche



Experience comme responsable de bar ou dans un poste similaire. Solides competences en leadership et en organisation. Bonne connaissance des tendances en boissons et des meilleures pratiques de l'industrie. Excellentes aptitudes en communication et relations interpersonnelles. Capacite a travailler dans un environnement dynamique et sous pression. Connaissance des reglements en matiere de sante, securite et service de l'alcool. Disponibilite pour travailler en soiree, les fins de semaine et les jours feries pendant le festival.
