Duties
Lead and supervise bar staff, including interviewing, training, and scheduling team members to ensure efficient service.
Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are maintained across all offerings.
Manage daily operations, including cash handling, POS transactions (including Micros POS), and inventory control.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized bar environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and increase sales.
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a positive atmosphere for guests.
Supervise serving staff during shifts to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
Assist in hiring new team members through interviewing processes and onboarding.
Experience
Proven supervisory experience in food service or restaurant management.
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
Experience in hospitality environments such as hotels or bars is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Knowledge of restaurant operations including cash handling, inventory management, and customer service excellence.
Previous barista experience or hotel experience is a plus.
