Job Overview

The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, managing the beverage program, and ensuring flawless service execution. This role requires a strong leader with deep knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits, as well as the ability to inspire, train, and mentor a team of bartenders and barbacks. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, organization, and professionalism to enhance the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of bar operations, ensuring seamless service and a luxury guest experience. Develop, maintain, and execute seasonal cocktail menus in collaboration with the culinary and wine teams. Curate and manage an extensive spirits, wine, and beer selection in line with the restaurant's brand and concept. Train, mentor, and schedule bar staff to ensure exceptional product knowledge, service standards, and teamwork. Monitor inventory, control costs, and manage ordering to achieve financial targets. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with management to design beverage pairings for events, private dining, and special promotions. Handle guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring positive outcomes and loyalty. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient bar environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of bar management experience in a high-end or fine dining environment. Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, cocktails, and wine. Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on training and development. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Financial acumen with experience in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting. Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
