We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on customer service and team management. As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will guide our team in delivering an outstanding experience to our guests.

Duties

Supervise bar staff, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Utilize POS systems, specifically Micros POS, for cash handling and transactions. Train and mentor staff in customer service best practices and food handling procedures. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members. Create a welcoming environment for guests while ensuring prompt service. Implement effective team management strategies to enhance performance and morale. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership skills with experience in supervising teams. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems, particularly Micros POS. Background in food preparation, cooking, serving, or barista experience is preferred. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests.
