Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and beverage industry, demonstrating leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. As the Bar Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain high standards of service and safety.

Responsibilities

Supervise bar staff and ensure efficient service during peak hours. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of all food and beverage items. Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance performance and customer service. Develop creative drink menus and oversee the preparation of beverages. Handle cash management, including daily cash reconciliation and reporting. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service between the bar and dining areas.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices. Proficient in using POS systems, specifically Micros POS. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff. Ability to conduct interviews and hire qualified candidates for bar positions. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting. Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or cafes is preferred. Barista experience is a plus, enhancing our beverage offerings.
