Duties
Oversee all bar and restaurant operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning
Supervise and train staff on food preparation, serving techniques, and customer service standards
Manage food handling procedures to comply with food safety regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking of beverages and supplies
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, including food safety protocols
Lead team management activities such as interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Maintain a clean, organized environment in accordance with hospitality standards
Assist in menu planning, including beverage selections and food offerings when necessary
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Supervising experience with a focus on team management and staff development
Ability to manage cash handling accurately and efficiently
Familiarity with restaurant operations including kitchen experience and food handling practices
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
Experience with interviewing and hiring restaurant personnel
Knowledge of the food industry trends, hospitality standards, and restaurant management best practices
Hospitality background including hotel or barista experience is a plus
