Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Supervisor to oversee our banquet operations and ensure exceptional service for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, with proven leadership skills to manage a dynamic team. This role requires a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and the ability to coordinate events efficiently.

Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of banquet operations, including setup, service, and breakdown of events. Supervise and train staff to ensure high standards of service and food preparation. Oversee food handling and safety practices in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that meet client specifications and dietary needs. Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling. Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new team members to build a skilled workforce. Maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Ensure that all banquet events run smoothly, from initial planning through execution.

Skills



Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry. Experience in restaurant management with a focus on team management and leadership. Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Previous supervisory experience is essential for managing staff effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices related to banquet services. Barista experience is a plus for enhancing beverage offerings during events. A solid understanding of restaurant experience is beneficial for this role.
