Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Banquet Cook to assist in the

preparation and cooking of large quantities of food for

banquets, receptions, conferences, and other special events.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in cooking for large

groups, maintaining quality and presentation standards, and

working efficiently under time constraints.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook, preferably in banquet or

large-scale food service.

Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and

handle multiple tasks.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as

needed.

Knowledge of or ability to learn multiple cuisine types.

Strong understanding and practice of basic cookery and

techniques

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook banquet menu items according to

standardized recipes and event specifications.

Assist in setting up banquet kitchens, including food prep

stations and equipment.

Coordinate with the banquet and kitchen staff to ensure

timely delivery of food during events.

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and

safety.

Monitor inventory levels and assist with receiving and

storing food supplies.

Ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation in compliance

with health and safety regulations.

Assist with plating, portioning, and garnishing dishes as

required.

Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain a

professional and efficient kitchen environment.

Adapt to last-minute menu changes and special dietary

requests when necessary.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced environment.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $15.65 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 60 per week
