We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Banquet Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for events, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. Duties
Prepare and cook meals for banquets, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes.
Follow recipes and presentation specifications to maintain consistency in food quality.
Assist in menu planning and food preparation for various events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
Handle food items safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during events.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on banquet or catering services being a plus.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
