Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Banquet Cook. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and maintaining high standards of banquet food.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils following sanitation guidelines
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries
Qualifications
- Prior experience in banquet cooking
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and take on various tasks within the kitchen
- Flexibility to assist in different areas of food service as needed
- Must have transportation as public transit not available to location.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
