Ensure all guests receive prompt and friendly food and beverage service according to hotel blackfoot service guidelines.
Prepare for future functions, i.e.., napkins, silverware
Set banquet rooms as per banquet service manual which will require heavy lifting of tables and chairs
Service banquet meals including pre-meal set-up, actual meal service and after meal clean up
Reset rooms after functions have ended
Set banquet bar as per specifications outlined in manual
Set up all audio-visual equipment needed in specific rooms
Report necessary equipment or supplies required (i.e.., candles, etc.) to Catering Manager
Update accurate number of meals served on contracts on clip-board for Catering Manager
Organize storage room.
Work in conjunction with Catering Coordinator for set-up plans, last minutes changes, final counts, etc.
Contribute positively to the team by being reliable, punctual, and well groomed
Friendly, outgoing demeanor with ability to quickly establish rapport with guests from a wide range of backgrounds
Professional presentation
Ability to stand/walk throughout the shift and carry trays up to 20 lb.
Personal transportation required
Availability and flexibility to work early morning shifts
Basic computer knowledge
