Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while serving food items as needed. Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management as necessary. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable. Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with familiarity in using Micros POS systems being a plus. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. A background in hospitality with an understanding of serving techniques is highly valued.
