Job Summary
An opportunity to promote change and foster development The Service Delivery Division provides income and disability assistance services online, by phone, or face to face in our communities. We strive to ensure our services are reliable, responsive, inclusive, and accessible to all British Columbians who need our support. The Manager, Service Delivery is responsible for the implementation, delivery, and integration of a variety of employment and assistance programs through partnerships with stakeholders in provincial, federal and municipal governments and, with community agencies. Job Requirements:

  • Related degree and three or more years of related, progressive experience in a service delivery organization*.
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


  • Three years of related, progressive experience in a service delivery organization must include:
  • Experience leading significant change initiatives, and
  • Experience resolving complex staff, process and client issues.

Additional experience must include one or more years of:
  • Experience meeting deadlines while managing a high volume of work with competing/conflicting demands.
  • Experience problem solving and making decisions.
  • Experience developing innovative approaches and adapting to policy and technological change.
  • Experience exercising a high level of professional judgment, sensitivity, empathy, tact and diplomacy.
  • Experience working in a virtual environment and holding people accountable.
  • Experience developing and maintaining successful relationships and influencing outcomes.
  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations, training, and briefing notes.

Preference may be given to applicants who have:
  • Project management experience,
  • Experience managing 15+ employees,
  • One or more years of work experience in a social service setting, and/or
  • Experience promoting engagement in a virtual environment.

This position can be performed from any of the following communities: Surrey, Richmond, Vancouver, North Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster. Due to the nature of this work, the successful candidate will be required to work in-office.
