We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join our Technology Service Delivery team.

Reporting to the Manager, Technology Service Delivery, you will be responsible for delivering project management services in support of E-Comm and our service partners, as well as leading project teams through complex technology-based projects from development to close.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management, a proven track record of delivering projects within scope, and excellent leadership and communication skills. In this role, you will proactively deliver solutions on time and on budget using both traditional and agile methodologies, while identifying opportunities for quality and efficiency improvements.

A service and customer-first mindset is essential in this role, as you will be working closely with our public sector service partners. The ability to lead multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity, as well as manage various stakeholder relationships, will be critical to your success.

What you will need:
  • Either a bachelor\'s degree or diploma in computer science, engineering or business with a technology focus plus considerable related experience; or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading technology projects of varying size and complexity
  • Knowledge and experience with omni channel communication platforms or contact centre technology platforms (i.e. IVRs, telephony, reporting/analysis, recording, knowledge base and CRM systems) would be considered an asset
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, or similar organization considered an asset
  • Certificate in ITIL or similar service delivery framework preferred

Security Requirements:

As a condition of employment at E-Comm, the required Police Security Clearance applicable to the position must be acquired and maintained. This is a process carried out by our law enforcement partner agencies, facilitated by E-Comm. The minimum residency in Canada to qualify for this position, as established by our law enforcement partner agencies, is roughly 3 to 5 years.

To qualify for this process, a candidate may be either a Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen. We regret any candidates under Student, Visitor, or Work Visas are not eligible for consideration.

Vaccination Requirements: E-Comm 911 has a vaccination policy that is currently suspended. However, should the policy be reinstated, it will be a requirement for all current and future employees.
