The Economy Sector is comprised of four Ministries including the: Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development, and Innovation; Ministry of Municipal Affairs; Ministry of Labour; and Ministry of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport. The Management Services Division provides services to corporate planning, financial services, information systems, facilities management, and strategic human resources (SHR).

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience

  • Degree in social sciences, business administration, public administration, human resources or a related field and recent, related experience. An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training may be considered.
Related experience includes the following:
  • Experience related to program design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Experience related to the promotion and implementation of equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Experience implementing communications and change management in support of complex and sensitive issues.
  • Experience engaging partners at various levels in the organization, in decision making and the implementation of decisions.
  • Demonstrated lived experience and personal knowledge about diversity and inclusion gained through direct, first-hand involvement in everyday events rather than through representations constructed by other people.
Preference may be given to applicants with any of the following:
  • Individuals who identify as Indigenous, LGBTQ2S+, persons with a disability or racialized people, with the required combination of education and experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
