The Role
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic
Bakery Supervisor
to join our team. As a member of our team, you'll work in a supportive and positive environment with experienced professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service.
Your Impact
The Bakery Supervisor plays a critical role in the overall production and supply management of the bakery operation. The incumbent will supervise and coordinate production activities at all processing stages in the Bakery to ensure production meets or exceeds efficiency and company safety and quality standards. The supervisor will also supervisor, mentor and train the bakery employees and schedule work accordingly.
Your responsibilities:
Provide support and guidance to the team on the day-to-day work challenges and procedures.
Supervise the production of baked items using established and/or newly created recipes while ensuring adherence to corporate standards and requirements
Order, track and receive stock, ensuring appropriate levels of inventory are available, based on incumbent's planning
Ensure quality control of all bakery products, storing and rotating inventory to ensure freshness
Ensure bakery operations are in compliance with all food safety, occupational health and safety and other relevant legal requirements
Ensure that products are on display in a timely fashion and that there are a sufficient number of products available for sale.
Supervise, train, motivate and evaluate bakery staff to ensure quality control, health/safety standards and customer service standards are maintained
Participate in the coaching and discipline of bakery staff as required
Prepare or revise the work schedule for bakery staff
Recommends ways to continuously improve the day-to-day production
Create and maintain an engaged, team-focused environment by providing strong support and prompt feedback
Works safely and follows legislated and established safe work procedures and practices.
Other duties as assigned
About You
Possess 3 years of valuable experience as Bakery Supervisor.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enhancing customer service and team collaboration.
Experience working in a busy and fast-paced retail environment is a MUST!
Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and management.
Exhibit a strong ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
Must be available to work during weekends
