We are seeking a dedicated and skilled bakery manufacturing Line Lead to join our team in the food processing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety standards and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the production line team to ensure efficient operations.
Fabricate and package food products according to company specifications and food safety standards.
Ensure all equipment is sanitized and maintained in compliance with health regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of the production area to identify any potential safety hazards.
Train new employees on proper operating procedures, food safety practices, and equipment handling.
Utilize basic math skills to monitor production metrics and maintain accurate records.
Operate forklifts as needed for the movement of materials within the facility.
Collaborate with management to implement process improvements that enhance productivity and quality.
Requirements
Previous experience in a leadership role within the food industry is preferred for atleast 2 years.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic math skills for inventory management and production tracking.
Forklift certification is a plus but can be obtained upon hiring.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
