Requirements:

2+ years Experience in face to face customer service. Barista experience an asset but not a requirement. Familiar with cakes, cupcakes, sweets and savories of all types. Ability to be a critical thinker and adapt to a changing environment. Ability to work with and provide service to multiple personality types. Extreme attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Willingness to provide thorough details and clearly describe our products to our customers, including ingredients and how items are made. Work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and contribute to a great customer experience. Exceptional hygiene and cleanliness. Clean shaven, well groomed, hair clean pulled back, clean hands and finger nails. Food Safety Certification Level 1 (or willingness to obtain before hire)

Physical Requirements:

Continuous standing/walking for all tasks Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg Frequent turning and reaching Handling HOT items and being around hot pieces of equipment Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 metres Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
