We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that all products are prepared, decorated, and presented to the highest standards.

Duties

Assist in the preparation of baked goods, including cinnamon rolls , pastries, and cakes. Support decorating efforts by applying icing, and other decorative elements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide excellent service and assist with their orders. Package baked goods for display and sale while ensuring freshness and quality. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality. Adhere to all food handling guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant setting is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Familiarity with baking processes and techniques is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in food preparation and cooking is beneficial. A passion for baking and creativity in cake decorating is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
