Overview

We're hiring a Baker/ kitchen assistant to join our dynamic environment. This can be either an early-start role OR a later in the afternoon role to get the prep for the next day done.

This position is ideal for someone organized, efficient, and passionate about fresh, handmade food.

Duties

Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including pretzels , bread, pastries, cakes, muffins, cookies and seasonal treats. Prepare grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, granola, lunch of the day Maintain par levels of all items required for the bakery / grab & go displays Assist with general kitchen prep tasks as needed Ensure proper storage of food items, following guidelines for food handling and safety Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation role is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong time management and multitasking skills Comfortable working independently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
