Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail.
Package finished products for distribution while maintaining high standards of presentation.
Assist in food production tasks, ensuring all items meet quality and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers during their visits.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely delivery of products.
Utilize knife skills for food preparation tasks while following proper food handling procedures.
Support catering efforts by preparing items for events as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in baking and pastry preparation within a culinary or restaurant environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in food production and preparation techniques, including cake decorating and packaging.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, along with good knife skills.
A background in the food industry or culinary arts is highly desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
