Position Overview:

We are seeking dedicated, creative, dynamic, passionate Baker and enthusiastic individuals to fill the roles of Baker and Chef. In this unique position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service as a Baker and assisting in the kitchen as a Chef. If you have a love for chocolate and a flair for creating high-quality, visually stunning, and delicious baked goods and culinary arts that reflect our global brand's premium standards, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of chocolate-based dishes, pastries, Custom Cakes and desserts according to established recipes and standards. Help with inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies. Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Collaborate with the head chef to develop and refine new menu items. Assist in training and supervising kitchen staff as needed. Ensure timely and consistent baking with attention to flavor, texture, and presentation Assist in developing new dessert and food items Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed. Uphold The Chocolate Room's standards for quality and presentation. Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations across all product categories, with a strong focus on preparing savory food items and ensuring each menu item is prepared on time, fresh, and presented in a visually appealing manner. Provide exceptional customer service, taking orders, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns with a friendly attitude.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Baker preferred. Strong passion for chocolate and a creative approach to its use in both beverages and food. Excellent customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude. Skilled in preparing both classic and modern desserts and baked goods Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Passion for baking, creativity in decorating, and high attention to detail Team-oriented, honest, and reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
