Cooookies With Us is a proudly woman-owned bakery specializing in gourmet cookies and baked goods made entirely from scratch. We believe in real ingredients, no shortcuts, and baking with care. From cookies and muffins to cakes to jams, frostings, and savoury items, everything is handcrafted in-house with consistency, creativity, and love.

We are looking for a skilled, reliable baker who has hands-on bakery experience and understands the importance of quality, food safety, and teamwork.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare doughs and batters for cookies, muffins, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and special orders Produce house-made jams, icings, frostings, and fillings from scratch Decorate cookies, cakes, and baked goods with precision and attention to detail. Prepare and assemble savoury food items, including sandwiches Execute daily baking and cooking tasks while maintaining consistent quality and presentation Assist in the creation and testing of new baked goods and seasonal recipes Safely operate ovens, mixers, grills, and specialty bakery equipment. Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistency Ensure all products meet company standards for flavor, texture, and appearance. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times. Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies. Support the kitchen team with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of workspaces.

Requirements

Valid Food Handler Certification (required) Previous experience working in a bakery or pastry shop (required) Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule Expectations

Early morning shifts may be required Weekend availability is required Schedule may vary based on production needs, seasonal volume, and special orders
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour
