Job Summary:

As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of bread and other baked goods. This position is crucial in maintaining our bakery's high standards of quality and ensuring our products are ready for display when we open each day. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards. Follow all recipes and processes to ensure consistency and quality in every batch. Manage baking schedule to meet daily product demands and deadlines. Set up and maintain equipment and ovens for the baking process. Decorate and present baked goods in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Ensure all products are stored properly, and maintain proper rotation of baked goods. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Monitor ingredient inventory, and notify management of shortages or needs for reordering. Keep the work area clean and well-stocked, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure a smooth transition and timely product delivery.

Qualifications:

Experience as a baker Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and stay focused during shifts. Good attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes accurately. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines. Physical stamina to work long hours on your feet and lift heavy bags of flour and ingredients. Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the bakery and assist with other tasks as required. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or baking degree/certification is a plus.

Schedule:

We are open daily from 7am-6pm, schedules vary but require working every other saturday. Flexibility required to accommodate seasonal changes or holidays.

Pay: From $15.65 per hour
