Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including pastries, and bread and bun Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs and themes Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation standards Package baked goods for retail sale or catering orders Provide friendly and attentive customer service, assisting customers with product selections Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, baking areas, and display cases Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in product quality Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

Prior experience in baking, or food preparation is an asset but we provide training. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus Strong attention to detail and creativity in decorating baked goods Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Kitchen experience including food handling, packaging, and basic cooking skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift weights as required . A passion for baking and culinary arts is highly desirable

Pay: $17.87-$20.00 per hour
