Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and other desserts. Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs using various techniques. Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety standards. Ensure all food handling procedures meet health regulations and safety guidelines. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selections and inquiries. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and decorating tools. Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring ingredient levels.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a baker is highly preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Strong attention to detail with an eye for creative baker roles. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Basic understanding of packaging techniques for retail or wholesale products. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.
