We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, with a strong focus on baking and cake decorating. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards. You will also play a key role in providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies. Decorate cakes and other baked goods with creativity and attention to detail. Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with inventory management by packaging baked goods appropriately for sale. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Collaborate with kitchen and catering staff to ensure efficient operations during busy periods.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong skills in food preparation and handling, particularly in baking techniques. Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.
