Responsibilities

Prepare various baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in food handling and packaging of finished products for sale. Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers, taking orders, and offering recommendations based on their preferences. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods. Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and communicate needs to management.

Experience

Previous experience in baking is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Restaurant or kitchen experience is highly desirable, particularly in the food industry. Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and baking principles is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is a must. A creative mindset with an eye for detail in both decoration and presentation of baked goods.
