Fresh St. Market is a vibrant food store with the feel of a farmer's market; we're the fresh food connection to local producers. Part butcher, part baker, part fisher, part farmer and all parts great fresh food.

Must be available to start at 10:00 pm. including weekends and statutory holidays.

At Fresh St. Market's Bakery, we tip a floppy baker's hat to some of the finest baked goods from near and far. With the help of our talented team of bakery experts who are dedicated to providing exceptional products and service, we are proud to offer an extensive selection of baked goods that includes freshly baked breads, sensational gourmet cakes, decadent cookies, and specialty items.

As a Baker, you will deliver exceptional customer service by fostering customer loyalty, fulfilling customer needs, and actively contributing to an environment of employee and customer engagement. Reporting to the Bakery Leader, your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Street Credentials

Bring a positive attitude every day Previous experience as a Baker or in similar capacity an asset Enjoys working in a team and able to work under minimal supervision Willingness to learn You have an impeccable level of cleanliness, attention to detail and organization You thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt well to shifting priorities You are highly self-motivated and work well under minimal supervision You possess strong customer service skills You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills You can work on your feet up to 8 hours in a day Can lift, push or pull up to a maximum of 50 lbs Following health regulations and safety standards

You have a valid work authorization (i.e., work permit, student permit, PR) in Canada

The Fine Print:

Upon hire, new employees will be placed in a starting rate between the minimum and P50 (midpoint) of the wage range. The P50 of the range represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications, and experience for the position. In some circumstances, the new employee may be eligible for compensation beyond the P50 of the salary range. Factors that influence this decision include full job knowledge, qualifications, internal equity, and experience in a similar role.
