Our diverse group of experienced and knowledgeable investment advisors and portfolio managers help clients achieve their long-term financial goals by offering independent, timely, and objective financial advice. Recent growth results in the need to expand our Operations team. The potential for realigning current duties allow us to consider candidates with a wide variety of areas of expertise, but we are ideally seeking an individual who has had experience in both client account processing and securities cage functions in a self-clearing environment. Job Duties

  • Administrative support to New Accounts and Compliance Departments
  • Process incoming documents, which entails reviewing account opening packages to ensure that proper documents are used and completed correctly
  • Management of pending and on-going account documentation requirements
  • System input of account information
  • Prepare document packages for the scanning process
  • Assist internal and external department staff with account-related statistics and reports.
  • Initiate accounts Transfers (Aton in and out: Non- Aton in and out
  • Follow up through phone, fax, and email on all incoming/out outstanding transfers
  • Post journal entries
  • Set up Transfers on CDS/DTC
  • Deposit Cheques
  • Provide assistance and/or back up coverage support to other Team members and
  • Perform additional responsibilities and project-related tasks as required.

  • Flexible and enjoys an environment where responsibilities include a variety of tasks which may vary depending on company needs
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Dataphile preferable and
  • Minimum of one year experience in an investment industry back office.
