Dortmans Bros Barn Equip. is seeking an experienced and talented Sales, Service, and Installation Management professional to oversee business development and sales of our back barn products for the dairy, poultry, and pig industries. This position has a strong focus on dairy farming.

What You Will Do

• Manage business development, sales, service and installation for the entire Dortmans Bros. Barn Equip. Inc. Bark Barn product line(s)
• Maximize \xe2\x80\x9cBack Barn\xe2\x80\x9d sales and profit through effective quotation and project planning
• Consult with existing and potential clients to identify current and future needs related to manure, feed, stabling, cow comfort, and ventilation products, equipment and service
• Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement successful strategies for the sales of current and emerging back barn products.
• Work closely with customers and the Dortmans Bros. Barn Equip. Inc project team(s) to develop and deliver optimal barn (re)development solutions for manure, feed, stabling and ventilation products, equipment and service
• Work together with the other product sales teams to leverage and expand existing relationships and projects
• Verify project costing and design specifics to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
• Continue to build the Dortmans Bros. Barn Equip. Inc. brand through the effective use of current and new marketing material, as well as existing client installations

Job Requirements and Working Conditions

• Attend all sales meetings to discuss promotions, products, target lists, current leads and any other topic that would lead to enhancing sales
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with all related suppliers
• Effective use of a CRM or equivalent to track all client relationships, leads, sales and projects
• Strong sales management skills
• Background knowledge of barn facilities a definite asset
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Office software is essential. (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
• A proven team player with a "get it done" attitude that can work with installers and service technicians to teach, train and instruct on the site.

• You are strongly self-motivated and results driven; able to work independently or as a team member as required
• A history of effectively managing sales teams
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong people skills and able to build trust

Education:

• Post-secondary education in Business would be considered an asset
• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License and clean driving record
