Key Responsibilities
Prospect local businesses through
door-to-door and in-person B2B outreach
.
Identify merchant pain points related to
payment processing, transaction fees, and POS systems
.
Present
Clover POS hardware and software solutions
, including payments, reporting, inventory, and business tools.
Educate merchants on
credit/debit processing, pricing structures, and Clover features
.
Conduct competitive comparisons and explain cost savings or operational improvements.
Close new merchant accounts and complete onboarding applications accurately.
Coordinate
Clover terminal deliveries, installations, and POS setups
.
Follow up with prospects via
phone, email, and text
to move deals forward.
Maintain accurate activity tracking, notes, and pipeline updates in the CRM.
Meet or exceed
weekly activity targets and monthly sales goals
.
Ensure a professional, compliant, and ethical sales experience.
Stay current on
Clover product updates, promotions, and industry changes
.
Communicate promptly regarding scheduling, availability, or time off.
Complete
daily reporting and administrative tasks
on time.
Work
full-time Monday to Friday
to maximize performance.
Maintain a
positive, coachable attitude
and strong work ethic.
Demonstrate leadership by supporting new reps and contributing to team success.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a commission environment
Comfortable with
face-to-face merchant sales
Ability to explain technical solutions in simple terms
Reliable transportation and smartphone required
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling
Clover, merchant services, or POS systems
Knowledge of
interchange, flat-rate, or tiered pricing models
Prior B2B or direct sales experience
CRM or pipeline management experience
