B2B Sales Associate - Employer Relations
to join our Career Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with local and regional businesses to create meaningful employment and internship opportunities for our students. You will collaborate with employers across various industries, helping them connect with top-tier talent from our diverse student body. Your efforts will contribute to bridging the gap between education and industry, enhancing our students' career prospects while fostering long-term employer partnerships.
Duties
Lead Generation
Research and identify businesses, industries, and organizations that actively hire community college graduates.
Build a database of potential employers looking for entry-level, internship, or apprenticeship candidates.
Employer Relationship Building
Establish and maintain strong relationships with employers, understanding their hiring needs and requirements.
Schedule regular check-ins with existing employer partners to discuss upcoming job openings, internships, and graduate placements.
Act as a liaison between employers and students, ensuring both parties' needs are met.
Employer Engagement
Host employer engagement events, including career fairs, employer networking events, and recruitment days.
Deliver customized recruitment solutions based on the employer's needs and the skills of the college's students.
Negotiation & Deal Closure
Negotiate terms of partnerships with employers, including internship duration, compensation expectations, and recruitment fees (if applicable).
Close deals by securing long-term recruitment agreements with employers to hire graduates from Ace Community College.
Ensure all agreements are properly documented and followed up on to maintain strong employer partnerships.
Student Support & Placement
Guide students in preparing their resumes, cover letters, and interview skills for employer applications.
Act as a point of contact for students with questions about job opportunities or employer expectations.
Track student placements and gather feedback from both students and employers to improve future recruitment efforts.
Market Research & Industry Trends
Monitor job market trends and identify emerging industries or sectors that could benefit from hiring community college graduates.
Conduct research to understand employer needs in various fields and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years in sales, business development, or employer relations (preferably in education or recruitment).

Proven ability in lead generation, account management, and deal closure.
