Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the integrity of the cargo. This role requires a strong focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and efficient route management. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and forklift operation are highly valued to support various logistical needs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight across designated routes Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting to keep vehicles in optimal condition Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management when required

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts is a plus Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is advantageous Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures for transporting freight Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to loading/unloading freight Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when necessary

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 70 per week
